Join the EnticEdge team!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Position overview:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic graphic designer to join the EnticEdge team to assist with branding and content creation, for our growing client list and internally for EnticEdge. This role is a contract 1099 remote position, although we’re looking for someone who’s motivated to take on a larger role as our company grows, and preference will be given to candidates in Chicago or Boston areas (we love remote work, but we have office spaces there and would love to see your face once a week!).

Role & responsibilities:

  • As a graphic designer at EnticEdge, you’ll be responsible for leading and contributing to branding projects with clients. Our signature 3 week branding process is a collaborative venture between EnticEdge and our client to create a an authentic and cutting edge brand that represents their organization as well as additional brand assets and illustrations that can populate their website and collateral. We’re looking for someone who’s creative and thinks outside of the box, but understands that strategy has to be at the core of any branding project. All branding projects are done with Adobe Illustrator.

  • In addition to branding, you’ll be working on marketing content for clients and internally for EnticEdge alongside our marketing team. This includes one-pagers, slide decks, advertisements, social media content (design only), and so on. We’re looking for someone who has fun working in Canva on all different types of design-heavy projects, and is eager to take on a variety of design challenges!

  • As a client-facing position, we’re looking for someone who is highly professional, meets deadlines, and is a very strong communicator. Our personal touch and agility with clients is what gives EnticEdge its, well…edge! Part of your responsibilities will be to communicate directly with clients via email, calendars, and comments on different programs (Drive, Canva, etc).

Requirements & Commitment

  • Must be proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Canva (experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus). While we love fellow lifelong learners, this is not an internship role and we’re looking for someone who is already confident with these programs.

  • Strong communicator, well-organized, and proactive. We’re looking for someone who can proactively anticipate roadblocks, stay organized and on top of timelines, and communicate effectively directly with clients and with our extended team.

  • Takes and gives feedback well! We work collaboratively at EnticEdge and our departments are never siloed — you’re a team player who’s ready to take/give feedback frequently for the good of the project.

  • This is a remote 1099 contract position and we expect to start with roughly 20 hours of work per week. However, we are growing rapidly and are interested in someone who’s eager to grow alongside us!

  • Working hours are flexible (must be in U.S. timezones), but we do expect responses to communication via Slack, email, and Google calendar Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm CST.

  • Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and shared prior to interview process.

About our team

  • Our growing team is a mix of strategists, marketers, UX designers, and developers. We have a laid-back culture because we know we can count on our teammates to push themselves, meet deadlines, and respond proactively to communication. We have two offices — one just outside of Boston in Dedham, MA, and one just outside of Chicago in Evanston, IL.

  • While this position is remote and we will consider domestic candidates throughout the U.S. who are willing to travel (expenses paid) to our offices at least once per quarter, we love seeing our teammates in the office so we can shake things up and collaborate off of Zoom, so preference will be given to candidates in the Boston or Chicago areas.
